Salmon
We source the raw material for salmon processing directly from Norwegian fish farms. We only use well-known, proven, and certified suppliers, which guarantees the highest quality of the product we purchase. In order to ensure this quality and the safety of our products, we constantly monitor the production process and raw materials, and improve the professional qualifications of our quality control department employees. As a result, we can offer our customers around the world the best and highest quality fish.

Currently, nearly 500,000 tons of fish are caught annually in the Baltic Sea. The so-called commercial fishing includes only a few species of fish, mainly sprats and herring. These two species and flounder account for more than 95% of all catches in the Baltic Sea. The sea from diversity of which PaulaFish derives all the best in the form of excellent fish that go from us to dozens of countries around the world. We source them as the leader and largest customer from Polish harbours. Our business is a comprehensive process that closes in one complementary cycle. It starts at the stage of obtaining raw material from regular and reliable suppliers from Poland. It is formed by a modern processing plant in Slupsk, operating since 2007. From it go to our customers so-called consequential products, including mainly sprat and herring.

White fish are some of the most popular in Poland, and they are becoming increasingly valued among all those who are looking for easily digestible and valuable meat for their health and diet. Paula Fish's offer is primarily dominated by Norwegian cod, Greenland halibut, kingklip, or the seasonal SKREI - Norwegian-Arctic cod, as well as saithe, hake and hoki, which we purchase from reliable suppliers from around the world. We offer carcasses as well as fillets or skin on and skin off steaks, fresh and frozen.

PaulaFish owns a modern plant with a production line for fish meal and fish oil from pelagic fish or by-products from pelagic fish and salmon processing, with a capacity of up to 200 tons of raw material per day. The production line is built to the highest standards, allowing for the manufacture of above-average quality products such as fish oil for human consumption or fish meal with a protein content of over 72%.

We offer freezing and storage of products in cold storage facilities. Our freezing capacity is 700 tons of raw material per day. We have 5 wind tunnels (cooling 100 tons of product per day to a temperature of - 18ºC), a Frigo Scandia fluidization tunnel (100 tons of product per day), a Giro spiral tunnel equipped with Supercontact, which allows raw material freezing without conveyor marks (freezing fish to a thickness of 110 mm), vertical freezer cabinets (freezing various types of raw material in the form of 19 kg or 38 kg blocks). In total, at both production plants, we have 10 storage freezers with the capacity of 18,000 pallet spaces for storing goods at temperatures down to -23°C. 85% of the energy needs of our plants are met by a wind power plant owned by Paula Fish.

Green energy
While building and developing our international business, from the very beginning we have been guided by innovation, modernity, sustainability and green energy in accordance with the slogan accompanying our brand - "driven by Nature". It combines all the key tenets of the business we run, which is already overwhelmingly green and friendly to the nature around us. Because in our work we are guided by the well-being of the environment, for which in a few years we will be completely neutral, as we will obtain 100% of our energy demands from renewable sources.
